Sunbears is an online application. To start using Sunbears, an internet connection and web browser are required.
Within the Sunbears service, there are three different ways to access the variety of features within your account.
For account management, team content creation, scheduling, etc., you’ll need:
PC/Mac computer, or high-functioning tablet such as Apple iPad
Full HD display resolution (1920x1080)
Web browser (Chrome recommended)
Internet Connection
For using Mobile Sunbears, our progressive web application recommended for players and on-the-go viewing, you’ll need:
Smartphone
Web browser (Chrome or Safari recommended)
Internet Connection
For using Sunbears Playback, our match recording Android application, you’ll need:
Android tablet
Minimum 10 inches
Full HD display resolution (1920x1080)
Android 5 or higher
Sunbears Playback application available on Google Play Store
Additionally, if you plan to use Sunbears with your whole team, we recommend preparing player information so that it can be easily inputted after creating your team account. Player information (name, birth date, jersey #, position) must be inputted first before inviting players as users.

There are 2 ways you can sign up for a Sunbears account.
Sign up on a computer or tablet
1. Visit sunbears.com
2. Click "Get Started" on the page, or click the "Try for free" button at the top right corner of the page
3. Fill in the information to create your account
4. Check your email for a verification link within 12 hours (Caution: they sometimes end up in the Spam folder – oops!)
5. Now you can log in!
Sign up on your smartphone
1. Visit mobile.sunbears.com
2. Tap “Sign up” in the bottom half of the screen
3. Fill in the information to create your account

Absolutely! Sunbears is tailored not just for teams but also for individual athletes focusing on their personal development. You can create a personal account to manage your daily training routines, track your progress, and securely store your training data. Plus, if you choose to, sharing your plans and progress with a group or coach is straightforward, ensuring you have the flexibility to train individually or collaboratively. Our monthly add-on options, which you can cancel at any time, make it easy and affordable to tailor the platform to your specific training needs, supporting you at every level of your athletic journey.

Sunbears offers unlimited free player users for each account; however, you can also add additional staff users through the User add-on to assign roles, which enables team administrators to decide who has the authority to create, edit and delete various team content.

Welcome to Sunbears!
After verifying your email and logging into your account for the first time, you will have the option to do one of two things: create a team OR join a team.
Create a team: For those who are in charge of setting up the subscription for their team’s Sunbears account; OR for those who are not part of a sports team, but just wish to use Sunbears as an isolated user without adding other members.
To create a team:
1. After logging in, Choose "I want to create my own team"
2. Enter your team's information, such as the name, sport, level of practice, and click "Create'
3. Now take some time to fill out additional details under the My Team menu, input player information, invite new users, and explore all Sunbears has to offer!
**To make the most out of your Sunbears experience, you can go to "Store & Billing" to view and purchase add-on packages suitable for your team.
Join a Team: For those whose team already exists on Sunbears, and wish to be added into the preexisting team.
There are 2 ways to join an existing team:
1. Invitation: An administrator user can invite you to join the team via your email address. Contact your team owner to request an invitation.
2. Join request: On the Lobby page after creating your account, submit a join request by inputting the email address of the team owner user.

The team owner can now invite team members to Sunbears from all devices!
Invite new user(s) from PC:
1. Navigate to the Users tab in the side menu
2. Click “Invite User” and input their email address, role within the team (+ corresponding profile for players), a message, and click “Send.”
3. Remind that person to make an account if they haven’t already!
4. Once they log into their account after the invitation is sent, a prompt will appear for them to accept or reject the team invitation.
Invite new user(s) from smartphone:
There are two ways to invite the member who is already on the roster or staff list:
A)
1. Go to "Team Members"
2. Select the member on the Players or Staff list, and click "Invite"
3. Edit email address and message, and click "Invite Player/Staff"
B)
1. Go to "Users"
2. Click "+" at the bottom right corner
3. Add email address, select roles (More options here if you subscribed to additional users beforehand), select Player/Staff you wish to assign/invite, edit message, and click "Invite User".
To add and invite new user(s) from mobile:
1. Go to "Team Members"
2. Select Players or Staff tab, and click "+" at the bottom right corner
3. Add member information, click "Add Players/Staff"
4. Go to "Users"
2. Click "+" at the bottom right corner
3. Add email address, select roles (More options here if you subscribed to additional users beforehand), select Player/Staff you wish to assign/invite, edit message, and click "Invite User".

There are 2 ways to join an existing team.
Receive Team Invitation:
1. Provide your account’s email address to an owner or administrator of the team account
2. That user should send an invitation via account user settings
3. Once the invitation is sent, it should appear on your screen instantly the next time you log in
4. Accept the request and explore your team’s Sunbears account!
Send a Join Request to Team Owner:
1. On the Lobby page after creating your account, find the “Join a Team” window on the right side of the page.
2. Enter the team owner’s email address and a message
3. The owner will accept or reject the request from their account; remind them to check if necessary
4. Once the join request has been accepted, the team will be added to your account!
